Mary Ellen Croach was born 22 March 1901 in New Madrid, Missouri. She was the daughter of James Harvey Croach and Sarah Lockey Victoria Allen. She married Charles Henry Day on 17 May 1917 in New Madrid. He was the son of William Henry Day and Minnie Lee Parker.

Mary and Charlie moved to Cross County, Arkansas in early 1920 and remained there until c 1933 when they moved to Mississippi. Mary died 1 March 1970 at Pascagoula, Mississippi and Charles died 16 May 1968 at Pascagoula, Mississippi. Both are buried at the cemetery on Ingalls Avenue in Pascagoula.

2. Richard Alvin Day born c 1919. Lived 3 weeks.

3. Agnes Alice Day born 31 January 1920 in Cross County, Arkansas. She married Percy May and they had one daughter, Patricia Ann May born 4 September 1938. Agnes died 30 November 1955 and is buried beside her parents in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

4. Gladys Virginia Day born 7 December 1921 in Cross County, Arkansas. She married Arvis Matthews on 29 July 1943 at Meridian, Mississippi.( may have been Philadelphia, Ms. ) They had one daughter, Doris Ann Matthews born 18 July 1947 at Pascagoula, Mississippi. Gladys died 16 April 1990 at Philadelphia, Mississippi and is buried at Dixon Cemetery in Neshoba County, Mississippi.

5. Margaret Lucille Day born 24 December 1923 in Cross County, Arkansas. She died March 1942 at Meridian, Mississippi. She is buried at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Lake, Mississippi. She was never married.

7.Clifton Lloyd Day born 25 February 1931 in Cross County, Arkansas. He married 1. Gloria Garcia in Panama, Central America. They had these children:

          3. Arlene Day
          4. Ivet Marcella Day " Bunny"
Clifton married 2. Nieves ________?. They have no children.

8. Harold ( Harrell ) Dean Day born 21 January 1934 in Bay Springs, Mississippi. He married Anne Finlin in England. They have two daughters:

          2. Robin Day

9. Pauline Day born 8 November 1936 in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She married 1. W. M. Graham and they had two children;
          1. Sherrie Jean Graham
          2. Michael Graham
Pauline married 2. John Layfield. They have one daughter:
          3. Johni Michelle Layfield

10. Dorothy Jean Day born 3 August 1939 at Lake, Mississippi. She married Travis Lolley. Their children are:
          1. Cynthia Earline Lolley
          2. Sandra Deane Lolley
          3. Michael Dwayne Lolley
          4. Steven Charles Lolley
          5. Richard Aaron Lolley

11. Richard Lee Day born 23 January 1944 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He married 1. Doris Hester 2. Billie ____?. He has no children.
